Mary Ann enjoys the challenge of painting on location and has a reputation as one of Indiana’s premier Plein Air (outdoor) painters. Her paintings celebrate nature, emphasizing color and atmosphere. Her works have been included in Plein Air Magazine, American Art Review, Pastel Journal and Southwest Art magazines and two Painting Indiana books.

She exhibits widely, winning top awards. Mary Ann’s willingness to share her knowledge has earned her a reputation as an outstanding artist and instructor.
